do extracurricular activities play any part in the application process? It seems american med schools factor in your volunteer work, research experience, medical exposure etc. when you apply.

i am in year 12 this year, and is considering doing MBBS (although i doubt that i will get in anyway).
i think that is what the interview is about isnt it? i've always thought about the interview as them trying to suss you out and seeing if youre actually going to be willing to put in work etc. and how mad you want it...so they'll ask you about any work experience or volunteering or anything

i actually got my info from the careers counsellor at school, who works as one of the interview assessors.
