FOOTBALL IS THE NO.1 SPORT IN AUSTRALIA (Soccer is a horrible name; please phrase it as FOOTBALL)

AND IN MOST OTHER COUNTRIES...!

We all know that, but here is where I make my point.

Why can't I watch a good A-league game on TV?

I mean surely; second rate codes like Rugby and AFL broadcast 4 matches a week and we get...ohh wait; nothing. Thats right, zip, zlich, nil, 0.

How are we supposed to get ethical about the growth of football in Australian culture, when I can't even watch a good game... and when I do, its a foriegn champions league matchup where I have to wake up at around 4:30am in the cold mornings...

Where's the fairness. All good things in life should be free.

Freaking hectic atmosphere.

I can't find how shithouse sports like AFL, NRL or Cricket that involve some form of brute strength can be pleasing to watch. They're so boring, stupid and lame.

Football on the other hand is 100% skill. They say all sports involve bruteness but greats like Pele and Marodona were smaller than most people, and look at them, freaking geniuses.

Around 10 years ago I had nothing against anything, but I have truly the media to blame. Its at a stage where only 1 code can live at a time and these days its all about ratings. Who cares? Seriously? Ratings are for chumps!

You can go to SBS and find budget shows that have much higher ratings than others and thats how the grounds of football should come. Since the A-league is new, broadcasting rights wouldn't cost much so people can actually settle and enjoy football as it is.
