So to have a good chance of getting 1st in course, you must have gotten almost EVERYTHING right in your HSC exam. For state ranks, the lowest state rank for most subjects would be approx 95/100 ie 5 marks off the top. Maybe make that 96/100. The state rankers are full on pro's at their subjects
Last year 94/100 for eco was a state rank

What HSC marks would you need to get (Raw and Scaled) to get a first in the state award? What marks would you need for;

  • English Advanced
  • English Extension
  • English Extension 2
  • Geography
  • 2U Maths

Thanks :).
For Geog 2011 I think 97 got you 7th in the state from memory.

I think it's due to James Ruse concentrating more on high 99's than state rankings.

Knowing the beasts in Sydney Grammar, Tim Large and Harry Stratton. They constantly get awards at school it just sucks to be in their cohort.
