Can someone tell me a bit about the fine art course? What are the studios like? What's the atmosphere like? Theory interesting? Not sure if it's worth the move from Sydney. Also how big is Newcastle uni compared to say syd uni, like half the size??

Sydney isn't that far from Newcastle. Why don't you come up and check it out for yourself. The question really needs to be asked. Does size really matter? And what do you mean by size? The number of students? The physical size of the campus? To find this out all you need to do is look at the uni of Newcastle website and the Uni of Sydney website.
When I say size I mean the physical size of the campus. "Does size really matter?" It was more out of curiosity, as it's meant to be the biggest regional university in NSW or Australia. It takes 3 – 4 hrs one way from where I live in Sydney, so it’s not as easy as it sounds. I think I’ll leave that kind of travel for an open day.
