ok, i was suprised with my adv english ranking, which was 3/98, but im owrried that it should be 2/98. my friend got ranked 2nd, n we got the same assessment marks for 3 assessments, and in our last assessment, and our trial i did better than her....so i dun get how her ranking can b better than mine....
anyone can explain??

Ok my school is just your average Public High, about 116 in the year or something. my year was pretty lazy. like, seriously, I was the ONLY one who got an assessement mark over 90 in Ancient History...argh! *rolls eyes* I really envy you guys that go to the academic schools, public or private, with all those super nerds...lol

I dont mean to be rude...but just coz you top a shitload of subjects doesnt mean you'll get 99 plus..... i mean, i ended up with 47/50 for inschool for 3u english and was ranked 28/88 and 2unit english i had 97/100 and am ranked 18...... i mean, at my school you could literally get 98+ and still not be in top 20 and at other schools you could get 70 and be top 20 so rankings dont really mean anything until you consider what school you're from and that kinda stuff..


but....if you are from a good school then i agree you are a machine coz that's crazy!

I know that the ranks doesn't mean much and it depends on ur school....I haven't checked my school is ranked but I know that the dux (we had two dux) last year got a UAI of 99.95. But I'm not jumping yet...we'll see the real results on the 17th of December...So GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

why dont ur ranks matter if u come from a public skool?...........i go a public skool and last year our dux got 98.6 and her yr really sucked.........it depends or ur achievement..........u shouldnt be penalised for u crappy skool and its students

yeah i was the only one in my school who got an assessment over 90 for ancient as well - the next was like 82! - btw my school is about the same i think it was ranked 120 last year, a normal public school. these r my ranks:

Don't put yourself down. Just because you may not be coming first in every subject doesn't mean you won't get in the 80s. You never know what might happen. But don't get cocky either...hehehe
