School Rank: 280ish

Advanced English: 3/22 - got illness & misadventure for exams... my school RARELY gets anyone who receives a b6 in adv eng, most likely one or two band 6's this year.
Biology: 1/22 - confident about this exam, expecting 92ish aligned HSC mark
Chemistry: 1/22 - relatively confident, expecting 91+ aligned HSC mark
MX1: 2/7 - did okay, 57/84 raw probs
MX2: 3/5 - did horrible, looking at max 50/120 raw.. -- [ + weak cohort ]

Estimate away =), Thank you.

**If you need any clarification for a more accurate estimation feel free to ask questions.

Okays these are the marks I used in accordance to your rank:
Adv Eng - 85
Biology - 90
Chemistry - 90
Maths X1 - 70
Maths X2 - 65

Which then gives you a rough estimate of 94.90 +/- 1.000 to 5.000 marks depending on how well you really did, what your school rank is and how the subjects will be scaled this year.

Yeah, I've done a little estimating on my own and would like to see what others say..
I agree with your estimation for adv eng, that it will be around the mid 80's mark.
For bio and chem, most probably just edging above 90's

But to be honest, your estimations for mx1 and mx2 are verrrrry low.
When looking at raw marks, a 57/84 in mx1 aligned to a 90 in 2009.. taking into the fact that im 2nd, i'm expecting about an 85-88 HSC mark.

For mx2, a 54/120 aligned to a 78 HSC mark in 2009, so using that information.. i'm expecting about a 75 exam mark, but considering my poor cohort, most likely a 73ish HSC mark.

Thank you though, I appreciate the time and effort. =)

If that is what you expect then of course your ATAR will be 96.80 - this being MX1 is at 90 and MX2 is at 80. So... a 1.9 mark difference.

so you disagreed with most of it. why bother asking the community when you have a set number in your head anyway? ah well, only time (4 days that is) can tell.

Do you have raw mark estimates or at least your in school marks? Makes it wayy easier. But I would say mid to high 80's/

High 80s but depends on your marks. Its hard to estimate without them if you do scrap near an ATAR of 90.

I reakon 94.5-96.5. It could be more depending on how well you do in both MX1 and MX2.
