it's just sausage with blood.
that and haggis are pretty okay if you can get over the fact that you're eating blood and stomach

No - being from a vietnamese heritage and seeing my parents eat intestines and shieet, it isn't too far away from the norm. I'm not really into it but it tastes okay...

I'm pretty sure the asian region has much more, how can I say, exotic foods than Ireland (i dont know what irish foods there are)

You should try live octopus if you don't think it's "animal cruelty"

I don't think it's cruel. There are always bound to be those people who are like:

"Omg poor creature....at least take the time to kill it and not torture it you etc etc" or those that just see at as not morally correct.

Mate, i'm stuffed from today.

:O I love that movie! (and yep, I think they do, although, in one of my social science classes we were studying a culture that eats a monkey's brains whilst it's alive ... There are just some lines I will NOT cross... not many though :p)

Yes, the Japanese eat live octopus and other sea creatures based on their philosophy of "Food being at it's best when it is the freshest".

Although, most of the time it is dead but the nerves and so on within the body are still active which causes the tentacles to squirm so yeah.

Sorry for double post but yes that is very true. I think that is more of the Vietnamese tribal culture.
