Best Band: Cog - the talent these boys have is amazing, far beyond any Aussie band I've heard. They work hard, and have got to where they are because of that. Best drummer in Australia too.

Best Singer: Clint Bodge - Regardless of them sucking recently live, their new album is good and Clint is absolutely amazing in delivery, from opera to screaming - most talented singer in Australia.

I'm seeing Augie March soon and I don't even know who they are...being dragged along :p

anyway, does anyone else fell that the lead singer of Eskimo Joe changed his voice entirely?

In Black Fingernails Red Wine, he sounds like any other rock man.

yeah, but i think the more you listen to it, the more it sounds like him.

i guess bands and singers change, i mean like eskimo joe's older stuff like sweater, coco pops, ruby wednesday .. that's nothing like what they play now, i guess playing juvenile shit would get a bit old after a while (take note, nofx)

I bought the Augie March - Moo, You Bloody Choir album yesterday, i swear to god its the best album i've bought all year (besides Pinback - Summer of Abbadon).

Ur_inner_child you should listen to a few of their songs, plus their one crowded hour is supposed to be amazing live!

Moo was definately disappointing for me, and much too long.

Sunset Studies is one of my favourite albums ever.

Some of these posts are disgraceful. Aussie music = 2nd best (after the poms). Here goes:

AC/DC
Cold Chisel
Midnight Oil
Hunters and Collectors
Icehouse
Men At Work
Gangajang
Australian Crawl
Crowded House
INXS
Bee Gees
Jimmy Barnes
John Farnham
Yothu Yindi
Easybeats
Daddy Cool
Skyhooks
The Whitlams
Powderfinger
Silverchair
Regurgitator
Savage Garden
Def Wish Cast
Hilltop Hoods
The Herd
The Presets
The Cat Empire
Bliss N Eso
Pendulum
1200 Techniques
Augie March
Bernard Fanning
Jet
Something For Kate
Grinspoon
Frenzhal Rhomb
Spider Bait
Jebediah
The Angels
Butterfingers
The Vines
You Am I
28 days
John Butler Trio
Koolism
Custom Kings
Josh Pyke
Living End
TZU
Muph and Plutonic
Wolfmother

and lots more I didn't name because either I don't have them in my Aussie playlist (too lazy to add them), or I just ran out of energy. If you don't like at least a few of these, then tou're pretty much a 104.1 loving fuckwit who can't be helped
