Personally, I reckon the Best band in the world was The Velvet Underground but I loved The Stooges and The Jesus & Mary Chain too. I guess I have no case as Ive picked probably the most inconsistent three bands around......Oh Well......... You cant be helping Subjectivity.

Led Zep and Beatles are the two greatest bands. I would have to say in my opinion, Lennon and McCartney are the two most talanted song writters ever to grace our world.
