Worst: Ho Chi Minh, Na Trang, Dalat (Vietnam)

Best: Singapore, Bangkok, Hanoi.

Colombo (Sri Lanka)
Dubai (Dubai, lol)
Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)
Singapore (Singapore, lol)
Sydney (Oz)
Karachi (Pakistan)


The one I liked best: Dubai or Singapore


Didn't like: Colombo (probably because Sri Lanka isn't the most developed country)

I've never been in an airport with more announcements than Sydney, you CANNOT sleep. Why is it that some airports (like Frankfurt) manage to survive virtually without the use of a all-airport PA system, whereas in Sydney it's yakking 24/7?

Favourite overall for travel: Amsterdam, Sydney.

My favourite overall for flying is Bankstown. Traffic isn't anywhere near as bad as people think, the only slight problem is not enough run-up bays outside 11L.

JFK airport - pretty good, crazy security.
Toronto airport - Nice
Port Vila Airport (Vanuatu) - terrible, no air con in a tropical climate.

Best: Singapore or Hong Kong.

Worst: Beijing (pre-Olympics) though Sydney isn't far off.

Edit: I'd add that Laos is bad as well, but since you can't really expect much of the country...
