Okay today I finished my trials and I never felt worse.I'M PRETTY SURE I FAILED AT LEAST 3 of them with them being the worst.
My predictions for trials are
Chem: 20% MAX
Bio:50%?
Math 2u: 70%
math 3u: 30%
business: 75%
Eng Adv: 65%
And I haven't been doing well wiht my other internal marks too for the first term and half yearlies my ranks were
Eng adv 17/20 rank 29/45
Business 87/100 rank 9/63
Maths 2u 69/100 rank 47/86
maths 3u 36/100 rank 32/37
Biology 86/100 rank 14/63
Chemistry 52/100 rank 38/46
IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET A ATAR OF 75 OR 78 ? I'M AM LIKE FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW THE COURSE I WANT TO GET INTO HAS THAT LOWEST SELECTION RANK

Externals count are weighted to 50% of your HSC total mark calculation, so they can make a significant difference. Additionally if you and your cohort perform strongly in externals, then that can boost your moderated internal marks (so share resources once trials have finished).

So i'm basically fucked if the cohort doesn't do well since I ranked at the bottom? Does that mean I would be takeing their mark?

No, you still have 50% of your own mark that noone besides you can contribute to so you aren't completely stuffed.

nah ur good man I got 30% in 2 of my classes bio and maths gen, my best mark was English and I got 40%, still came out with a 80 ATAR hell yeah
