Yes it does. That's a big misconception that working for a family business doesn't count as experience. Just make sure you don't lie about it on your resume- "Family Business, Baker's Baker" or whatever it's called, is honestly fine to put. Even better if you could get a reference from someone there that's not family. It's seriously fine to count family business as "Experience" as long as someone not in your family can back you up in terms of a referee

i guess i was very fortunate because i think i went throught the process from interview to signing the papers in the space of 2 weeks. the reason being was that that pushed me quickly so that i didn't miss the training sessions.

i done the online thing, exam and got a group interview at some recruitment center at bondi. i applied just for myer and the group interview was interesting. i guess you just gotta communicate and add constructive convo and make sure those guys assessing you see it. i had business shirt but alot went casual to my surprise.

a few days after i had a one on one interview with my future manager at myer syd city and once that was done I had paperwork and then 3-day training which was boring as but a good 3-day paid buldge =)

nice place to work, quite flexible with uni and pay is decent considering that you don't work overly hard.
