How are you guys going so far?
I'm extremely concerned about my assessment marks so far.
I'm so scared sometimes I really want to kill myself!!!
Anyway, tell me if there is still hope.

Math3U :<80%
Math2U :<90%
English: <90%
Music: <80%
Business:<85%
Religion: around 60 or 70!!!

I'm so scared.
The scary fact is that I can't drop religion.
If i try really hard... Will I get there?!

I don't know!

Lol, hey how ya going?

You're probably heading in the right direction for a pretty excellent UAI.... and they're really good marks.

Give us an idea of what you think (as an estimate) you should be receiving as a mark for each class so we can see in comparison the difference in the marks above. Also include an estimate UAI which you think is achievable for you and a UAI which you'd love to get.

Ditto. Besides, threads like these should be in the UAI/HSC Marks Guidence and Counsel area so all year groups can generalise and not make threads in their HSC forum. It's all basically "help me, I want better marks - how can I get there?" stuff. So many threads for it!

Well done, they are quite good marks. I assume with such marks you are ranking well, so keep it up and you should get a pretty good UAI.

Your marks mean nothing without ranks. Ranks are definitely more important.

yeah, your internal mark is set based how well your grade goes in the externals.

i thought it was ranking in class but somebody replied as ranking in grade is important. is it true?

do you mean grade as in year group?

ranks include everyone who does the subject...so if its a big group they're not necessarily all in your class. ranks reflect performance in relation to the rest of the class. so for maths and especially english, there's going to be a bigger cohort. with a small class i don't think ranking is all that significant if the marks are really close, you've really got to look at the difference between you and the person in front and behind of you to get an idea of if 2/4 is an ok rank..

well, my dad and I watch ABC a lot so we just casually talk about the economy and shit,
umm I don't talk that much about school though either...
