I did Blood donations, played soccer all year, held fundraisers, did bucket collections, participated in chocolate drives, attempted Maths and Science competitions and set-up BBQ's at school. I also did a number of things that I can't remember at the moment, but will post them up if I remember.

I still don't have a part-time job though :( applied too late in the year.

Nothing will help you for uni admission unless you are applying for scholarships or are getting interviewed for something.

any advice on extra curricular activities regarding scholarships.
Basically everything I said above, any team work experiences, part-time work or community services, a genuine interest in your preferred future study (This is done by making projects and other stuff in your own time (example: A few of us in school built a transportation device)) and a bunch of other stuff. This thread will help you a little:

Things like sports, charity organisations through the school as well as Duke of Ed are highly regarded.

We had teachers and students vote.

Generally the SRC vote with the least popularity involvement is that for year 12. All other years, its mostly a popularity contest.

But when others know that their formal could be in the hands of a dimwit, they will tend to choose to vote for the person they think that could be a great leader.

Also, I would say the main reason I became captain was because I made friendships with many different people, I would speak to my different groups of friends and hang out with them once every two weeks at lunch or recess, and I was also always there to let people have fun.

In the end, those friendships and the fact that I was taking the initiative to do things without others asking was a reason for people to vote for me.

I'm going to PM you something for advice.

Could you do the same for me as well? I'm considering becoming part of my student council and trying out for school captain.

This is so that I've got more extracurricular stuff to add with my duke of ed, cross country, swimming and athletic carnivals.
