I was wondering if you have any notes or HSC practise questions on EXTERNAL STABILITY

Okay theres a pretty general one like "Analyse the policies that the governemetn can undertake in order to avhieve external balcance but thats more Topic 4 than anything else.

Theres also
"Analyse the effects of external imbalacne on the Australian economy."

I havent done these essays yet so i cant really giv any pointers but memorise those costs and benefits!!

One aspect to consider is the government's current handling of external stability, which is largely to ignore it, and focus on keeping its objectives in terms of the other 3 key issues - because, as a capital importing nation, the gov't has acknowledged it will run increasing current accounts deficits, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing...
