I was very happy to see that the spread of marks was more even between band 5 and band 6 this year. :)

I got:
Examination Mark - 44
Assessment Mark - 48
HSC Mark - 46 Band - E4

yay! :)

Edit: (In a couple of words - i wrote a collection of fictional short stories about people from other countries - based on interviews and my great great grandfather's journal from his migration from England to Australia in 1882/3. The trick was cutting out the cliche because this genre has really been overworked lately)

Lucky a girl in my class got 49.. that made my HSC mark a more respectable 43. My teacher and I were pissed off though, because my mark, compared to what others in my class got, was way out of whack... i rang up the advice line and some poor operator heard my angst and then told me all I could do was get a clerical recheck.
