Hi guys,

Good luck to students sitting their trials and for the upcoming HSC.

I am currently accepting students who require tutoring for Year 11 and 12 Adv/Std English. I got 96 for English Advanced and know what it takes to succeed in this subject.


HOW CAN I HELP YOU?

Given that the HSC syllabus has changed, I think it is especially important that if you find yourself in need of help with English, you find someone who has not only done well in the past but more so has experience teaching students. This is where I can help you; in addition to securing a band 6 in English, I have extensive experience tutoring students over the course of the last 10 years.



WHAT DO I COVER IN OUR LESSONS?

• Meticulously cover each aspect of the rubric such that you gain a thorough understanding of each module

• Help you analyse the main and related texts; this includes finding literary techniques and exploring the ideas in your related texts and how these ideas further your understanding of the main text

• Provide you with intense guidance to form effective and structurally sound essays.

• Prepare you for the HSC by giving you HSC style essay questions that you can answer at home which I constructively criticise thus providing effective feedback.

On another note, I would like to make a new set of notes to help students with a topic that they struggle with. Perhaps something like, 'How to address the reflection task for Mod C.' If you feel that me addressing a different topic would be of more use, I am happy to hear your suggestions via email/private message.

Aparajit's BEASTLY at English especially! Aparajit's Ruse students have clearly improved their internal ranking after going to him. Also Aparajit is VERY patient and a great teacher =)

had two or three lessons with Aparajitt leading up to my trials and my HSC exams for biology.
He offered an abundance of knowledge and taught in a very understandable way.
I ended up with a 96 HSC mark in Biology (unfortunately not a state rank) and 92 in CSSA trials.

... during the lesson he provided insightful and detailed information about my english modules and assisted in writing practice essays. I ended up with an 85 for english adv but that's decent considering I fell sick during paper 1 of the exam.

if only you had the time to actually finish the paper, im sure you would have done way better, but yeh gl and enjoy your hols!

Awesome tutor. Know a couple of kids he teaches and they say he's very knowledgeable and effective.

Roy is a very patient, responsible tutor with a great sense of humour and effective teaching style. Personally recommend him to any student who wants to achieve high marks.

This guy is really good. He has helped me improve by over 30% in English overall, and has helped build my confidence. So if you are not confident in English, i recommend you choose him because he will help you improve, and will make learning English fun.
