I've been tutoring for a long time now and I have interacted with students from a range of private, selective and non-selective schools.
How did you find out he has ruse students
I'm just guessing but maybe there are comments in this thread where students specified in their review which school they went to. Although don't hold me to it, I could be wrong.

Not this year.
Roy Aparajit is one of the most ignorant and sadistic person I’ve ever met. His lateness to all lessons directly reflects his laziness and lack of motivation to help students improve. On multiple occasions he has told me to shut up whilst asking a question whilst he was reading, he could’ve said it nicely but didn’t. Most reviews on here
are fake as I have 3 other friends from the same school who have had similar experiences and have been told that they will receive extra free tutoring if they leave good reviews. Roy Aparajit is the worst tutor ever.

I dont really know who this is and so it's hard for me to tell if this is someone I have actually tutored. Your other comment on this website is, 'Macquarie isnt g08, no one will hire a peasant. Anyone from USYD is automatically more desirable,' and so this feels like a fake account.
In any case, I'll treat the matter with seriousness and offer a response. In my past comments, as you can see, when I've been accused of lateness, I have always opted for honesty by admitting to it as opposed to denying it. This is because I value honesty very highly. So when you say 'most reviews are fake,' I can assure that not a single review has been tampered with or conjured from thin air and never have I incentivised anyone to write a positive review. If you check the dates, students leave their reviews after they finish their HSC so I'm not sure how offering extra tutoring after their have finished their hsc in exchange for a good review would be a viable plan. In any case, perhaps you will argue that there are ways to arrange that, so if you can produce untampered evidence of me offering anything to any student, past or present, in exhange for a positive review, I will leave this website and not come back.

i have the same question.
I'm not quite sure to be honest. I haven't kept a tally of what percentage of students have gotten a band 6 over the years and I don't find much value in that stat. For example, if a student was on track to get 90 without any external help but opted to get tutoring and ended up with 90, the tutor's presence wasn't really all that helpful. I prefer to focus more on the net progress made than the absolute number that the student ends up with. But even then, I dont sit down and calculate the net difference per student, so I can't offer a stat like, 'students find a 23 percent increase in marks in yr 12 relative to yr 11'. In any case, you might not care about the aforementioned, so I went back and checked and last year 7 of my 9 students got a band 6. So I guess the answer for last year at least is 77 percent but I still think its a disingenous stat that is commonly abused by tutoring companies. Personally, I would recommend reading past reviews since it offers in-depth insight into what you can expect from me as a tutor.
