Does anyone have this book? What do you think of it?

I bought it and l think its great, considering that in our workbooks a lot of things are repeated so we don't remember any other important info. The Excel Study Guide has it set out with minimal repeats.

i thought i was a great book too! nicely laid out, clear explanations, detailed illustrations.
anyway, the only letdown is that it only has the core (year 11) topics in it

thats because only the core topics can be tested in the hsc.
and not all schools do all the core topics in prelim.

The excel book is very helpful!
I found it has helped me with my exam study and even technique..
It gives you test papers and suggested answers ( as all excel usually do...) but especially with the essay questions its helpful in what is relevant and not relevant to write in the essays!

as i said before, thats because the elective topics aren't examinable in the hsc..
and depending on what branch you do there are different elective units..
