Loved it. Suprised myself by writing 17 pages per section. I wrote about Ranke, Cuthoys and Docker, Herodotus/Thucydides and Elton/carr. For section II I did the crusades, and talked about Phillips, Runicman and Riley-Smith. Very happy overall. It still won't count for my ATAR though.

But realistically, who cares. My last exam!! Now it is all over!

Question 1..... um, pretty sureI stuffed it up badly.
Question 2, I did JFK was very pleased with my response!!!

I just hope I interpretted the sources correctly...

Just a side thought, who else here wishes the historical invesitgations were marked externally and went towards your HSC mark for History Extension?

I went pretty average.
Used Herodotus, Thucydides and Hayden White in section I, wrote about 10 or 11 pages
Section II, ran out of time, but yeah didn't get to talk about much.

Anyway, its all over, and i managed to get one of my supervisors numbers!! hahahaha nahh she used to teach me and had to send me some stuff so :)

fuck that i wrote an essay about baudrillard and america, which my teacher found interesting gave me full mark

the BOS external markers would only expect conventional essays to be reaching top bands
e.g. english extension 2 and the fucked up marking process with that

True, I am guessing we would probably see alot of those essays with pretentious topics that are quite obviously written only for the marks... and not for the student's own interest.
My investigation question was rathe simple:
What impact did the black deah have on england after it's passing?

I thought the source was pretty hard actually. Think I made a good fist of it but I was thrown off because the source itself didn't really seem to have a clear point of view. Dunno how coherent what I wrote came out.

Crusades could not be happier

I agree. The amount of effort put in should be equal to something.
+1!
Especially when that effort led to high marks :D

Overall the exam was good, Q1 was great, Q2 less so, just managed a booklet and missed out a second area of debate which i wanted to include :(

*almost* a shame it's over, it was a good subject really.
