Hey sorry guys, my friend actually took my phone and posted this... but I suppose since this thread's already started, those aren't exactly correct:

English would be more like 30/160 (stuffed up trials)
Maths ext 1 - 1 (equal)/115
Maths ext 2 - 2 or 3/69
Physics - 2/70-80
Chem - 1 or 2/60-70

Haven't gotten finalised ranks, except Maths Ext 1 and physics are definite. Also not 100% sure about cohort sizes.

ALSO I have a state rank in IPT from 2012 (98). (I go to NSB if that hasn't become obvious yet)

I know all my subjects except English are on track for 99.95 but yeah... what do you guys reckon are the chances of pulling through with a so-so english rank? I don't even 'need' 99.95, since I'm aiming for Actuarial studies, but for those scholarships it would always be nice :D

true, but since it's a top 4 school, these would be the approximate hsc marks:
English - 94
MX2 - > 96
MX1 > 98
Phys > 95
Chem - 94
Does going to a rank 4 school really give you that much of am advantage? niqqa damm

Your English rank isn't even that so-so, considering your school! You should get 92ish at minimum with that rank... I know someone in a top 5 school who got 93 in English despite ranking 30ish, so yeah haha. But definitely try to smash externals to maximise your chances of obtaining that .95 :p
