Yeah.

I made a pumpkin then cut it with an axe, then summoned a god gave him a minigun, made him fight a devil then killed him with a flamethrower. And that was just the title screen.

Rare makes some Diddy Kong games, along with Perfect Dark and Banjo Kazooie. But for some reason, those last two are kinda Xbox things now. Kazooie, Tooie and Perfect Dark for N64 are on Xbox Live arcade now, and they both have current-gen Xbox games.


I just got Soul Calibur for PSP and played for like 3 hours, then got sleepy.

Now, at 12:35am, I find out that Scribblenauts is leaked.

I've been playing the new kingdom hearts, it kicks ass. Some of the best graphics I've seen on DS, and a fun game to boot.

I got KH and was told to apply some patch for it.
Put it into my flash cart, and now it says there is some sort of ROM save error, and then the screen goes to white...

You have to do a hex edit to fix that. It's easy as, only takes a few seconds.

Well I've tried 4 methods to fix it, and nothing has worked.
Two patches I had initially, manual hex code editing, and some Lunar IPS program.
All still giving the same error message and stopping me from accessing save files (it still makes them), except one method didn't allow me to play it at all.

I give up.

I'm using a R4 with the YSEMU (or whatever) firmware. I got the rom from romulation and used these instructions that they gave:

How to manually hex edit KH rom:

1: Google and download a program called XVI32. This is the hex editor I used.

2: Open your KH rom.

3: At the top click address, then click goto, then click hexidecimal.

4: Type 010E5DC into the box and click ok.

5: The first block should be highlighted and have 0C in it.

6: At the top click edit, click overwrite string, click hex string, in the bottom box type 37 and click ok.

7: Where it said 0C in the first box it should now say 37.

8: Click file, then click save.

9: Put the file you just saved on your flash cart and enjoy

Yeah, that was one of two methods of editing the hex code that I tried.

I'm using an EDGE card, and I just updated to the most recent firmware - still didn't work.
Then I tried another program from GBAtemp.net, doesn't work (still getting the same error message, haven't bothered to test out the saving yet).

Thanks for the help, I think I've finally exhausted all possible fixes.
