Para 2: Intro for 1st idea (synthesised both poems)
Para 3: 1st poem 1st idea
Para 4: 2nd poem 1st idea
Para 5: Intro for 2nd idea (synthesised both poems)
Para 6: 1st poem 2nd idea
Para 7: 2nd poem 2nd idea
Para 8: Conclusion

Is this a viable outline for an essay for Module B (Wilfred Owen's poems)
Or should I revert to the standard 4 body paragraph 2 idea structure?
I don't want to be penalised for structure

Don't see anything wrong with it, but if you're used to another structure it would probably be better to use it rather than change it.

I'd probably cut paragraph 2 and 5, but there's nothing inherently wrong with what you've currently got.

Thanks BOSers - My planned essay has 1000 words around and those two synthesis paragraphs are around 100 each
