Do you loose marks in the HSC exam if, when comparing how a concept is represented in 2+ tests, you treat the texts seperatly -
e.g. intro to essay, intro to text 1, few paragraphs on the concept in text 1, conclusion for text 1, intro to text 2, few paragraphs on concept in text 2, conclusion to text 2, conclusion overall for essay...
That has been how i have structured my essays for the last 3 years and have never lost a single mark in an essay assessment, so obviously i dont want to change my structure unless necessary?

You don't specifically lose marks for that style...as long as each text explores new ideas and isn't repeating the ideas from the previous text.

Hmm... I'd probably integrate it more. Like: Intro, Related 1, Link to Core, Related 2, Link to core etc. But if you havn't been losing any marks, then why stop now? You could ask a teacher if they think you need to though.
