Mention something like how the past tend to repeat itself and how we think we are a more intellignet society but in reality we haven't changed much.

Then talk about the similarities between past and present. eg. The funeral speech in Julius Caesar mirrors politics today. I won't say how, but when you analyse it closely you'll see.
