How am I the one 'stalking your friends' when I am the one who doesn't know who he/she is and they know who I am? Considering you were the one who distributed my photo to your friends and introduced me to them at some of the evenings... I fail to see how that classifies me as being the one who's doing the stalking =P And if I'm not mistaken, weren't you the one who followed my friends and I to dinner and we invited you in out of courtesy? So please don't make such unfounded accusations.

[edit]
Sorry for being a bit harsh there Sandy but I don't take too kindly when people who I've gone out of my way for in the past, make such ignorant comments, especially when they are discrediting myself.

sorry to ask ... but how exactly do u get a cadetship? do u get paid? and what exactly so u do while on cadetship? because a cadetship looks mighty impressive esp with a big firm like pwc or ey when looking for a job later on ...

thanks in advance

well basically you first of all fill out an application form online, which is usually found on the website of the prospective companies...this outlines the basics like academic achievement, extra-curricular...blah blah...some behavioural stuff. From that the successful ppl get invited to an assessment day, where you get interviews, you do a written task, and you do a group activity. From this the employer is getting a good idea of your personality. This is usually the final stage and you would soon be notified of the result.

We do get paid, as we work full time for the first two years out of high school, whilst studying part time...the following two years is spent studying full time (and working during vacation if you wish) during these two years of full time study the company would usually pay you a grant to live off.

I notice you are at Uni, a good idea would be to maybe apply for some vacationer work or something at once of these places...just check out the respective websites.

there are cadetships available for 1st yr uni students too- i think EY offers them to 1st yr... but i think they closed applications :(

i recommend u check out the ICAA FlyHigher site (www.flyhigher.com.au and www.icaa.org.au) ... there is a program called CA Achiever and its sorta like vacation work i'd imagine.. here's a link-http://www.flyhigher.com/Home/Content1.aspx?PageID=CAAchiever

did any of u guys notice the new changes to the CA program? it seems that u can now finish it faster since there are only 4 modules + integration between them... my sister took nearly 2 years to finish hers (and she never failed anything).
