Hey I need info about enrollment day/academic session. does anyone know how long it might take? And exactly what happens that day?
yeah, I live about an hour away as well. My parents almost didn't believe me when I told them I had to go all the way to penrith for enrolmentjubs_ said:What the friggin bujeebus? 3 hours? Min starts at 5 and it takes an hour to get home so I'll be home at 9? Bummer.
I think that depends on the complexities of your degree. Mine took about 45mins from what I remember. That was last year B Bus (E-Bus), combined degrees would most probably take longer.= Jennifer = said:It takes about 2-3 hours if I remember correctly. They tell you all about course unit structure and requirements, etc.
You will also have to fill out an enrolment form, hecs form, transport concession (if needed) and a few other forms which i can not recall.
people who are just starting at the uni go to the enrolment.dancin_beanie said:omg 2-3 hours?? i thought u could do this whole enrollment online...

i'm a bit confused... i'm coming down this weekend actually and i cannot enrol in my tutorials until feb 15-17th is this a totally different process all together? or am i just confused? lol

hope all is well

lol do'nt worry - there's guaranteed to be others who'll be late coz of buses or trains0Jade0 said:Question:
Does enrolment etc usually start on time? Would it be a big problem if I came about 15 minutes late? (blame Westbus!)
yeh the student card more or less is your concession card... and they don't let people take photos again if it stuffs up - some girl chucked a fit coz they wouldn't let her redo it coz she thought her smile was wonky...klh said:no dont you get your concession thingo on teh id card? the sticker is the sort of update isnt it? theyre ickle firsties after all lol...
and your picture is taken there and then so mind you look and dress nice or you might look like one of my photos! some will say cheese or get ready but when i had it she didnt so just look at the camera etc.
get there early so you can find the classrooms/lecture theatres that its held at and you might actually bumop into poeple fom your course to have a chat, as everyone is sorta new, its no problem.
all the info you need's on the netOdourless said:Are we meant to have gotten stuff in the mail about this? Because I don't seem to have.
I think I need to go this Thursday the 2nd for my course (Communications) and how far is it from the train station that I need to go cause I have no idea where I need to go
Well, I caught the train to Kingswood station and then got the UWS Shuttle bus that is right outside. The bus driver told us where to get off but I think that it is stop number 4.Odourless said:Are we meant to have gotten stuff in the mail about this? Because I don't seem to have.
