For English standard CSSA paper (trials), i got 84/105 or 80%, and overall my rank was 4/90. Considering I go just as good and get around this mark, is it possible for me to get band 5 in hsc, and what mark?

I think prob high band 5

Band 6 in standard is incredibly rare, something like the top 0.67% or something as relatively absurd

I think what he's trying to say is that you have get excellent marks and do incredibly well to get a band 6 in standard english and it is very hard to get which is true.
