Does anyone have any suggestions for a "changing self" text - its not allowed to be a film, the teacher recomends a feature article or childrens story book but we are allowed to do other things. Any suggestions ???

At school we studied "The Necklace" by Guy de Maupassant in class. It's a short story, and it pretty much reflects changing self. You might find it interesting. It can be found here:

we're doing changing self as well only we cant choose a book becasue our core text is The Great Gatsby by F.Scott Fitzgerald. Are you allowed to do a novel?? Oh and what film are you doing?

The film we're doing is 'Secrets and lies', we can do a novel but its not encouraged

We did "the red tree" for journeys in class but you could use it for change... what kind of change are you doing, and what forms of texts do you already have?
