Could anyone give me any recommendations for any texts (script/feature article/novel extract/image/song lyrics anything) that could be related to the novel Catcher in the Rye with the theme 'relationships'?

I know a lot of novels/films have romance in it, but the teacher recommended not to use any of those because they would take ages to annotate.

So could anyone help me out and just say what they think is a good text to annotate.

if it helps, the questions are:

1. analyse the ways in which the composer has represented the concept of relationships in each of your texts (catcher in the rye and two other related texts) and comment on their effectiveness.

2. how has your understanding of relationships been shaped by your study of the prescribed text, the catcher in the rye and one other text of your own choosing?
