What types of marks would an engineering student from USYD need to get, to be accepted into either:

JD@UNSW (CSP)
or
LLB(Graduate)@USYD

I'm looking for people who had been in a similar situation (or know someone) to myself and managed to get accepted to study law.

Thanks in advanced

It doesn't matter what course you did in undergrad, selection is mainly by GPA/WAM marks, supplemented by CV/interview at some schools. An 80 in Arts is the same as an 80 in Eng to them.

Your looking around 70 on the low end (full-fee place), and for a CSP place you'd probably be looking at high 70's, going into 80's to be safe. Keep in mind that CSP places are allocated to a quota by ranking top scores.

I was in a similar situation to the extent that I did a BSc for my undergrad, and was offered CSP places to Melb and Monash JD with 83 (if I recall correctly). I imagine it would be similar situation in NSW.
