Hey guys, my first preference is to study Medicine at JCU in Queensland, but if I bomb the interview then I have to look for other options, my predicted OP is around 3 (UAI 97), is that enough for me to get engineering at a Melbourne uni even though I am interstate? If so, which uni is the best?

why are your preferences so far apart? if you're from melbourne do it in uom or rmit and if you're in qld do it at uq or qut

97 is moar than enough for UoM, just make sure you meet the pre-reqs. The Melbourne model, spsrt from the regular BE is also a considerable pathwayinto the engineering field...have a look at it on the website.

~84 for B.Eng. at UoM, or 85 for B.Sc which leads into M.Eng with Melbourne model.
Either way, 97 is well more than enough, and if you get into the M.Eng, then you're guarunteed a CSP.
