ENGG1811 or COMP1911???? (1 Viewer)

I am doing flexible first year eng and recommended computing subjects for that are ENGG1811 or COMP1911. I chose ENGG1811 but later found out that if i want to do CSE, Electrical or mech eng i will need to do COMP1911 or 1511(Cant do that because no prior knowledge) and if i do civil ENGG1811 is fine. I have no prior knowledge of computing, coding/Programming. Should I change ENGG1811 to COMP1911 which would mean i have to catch up on 1.5 weeks of work and 2 more contact hrs per week. is it worth to take the risk and do 1911?

1911 even if i have absolutely no prior knowledge of computing and coding/programming?
i fear that it may be too hard for me and i may end up failing it because looking at week 1 lecture slides for 1911 it looks all gibberrish to me and thats just intro (maybe becuase i havent attended those lectures)

that is just compling the code that you have written which isn't hard at all

you will memorise that line after a few hours

Angela Finlayson is also a great lecturer imo, she taught me last year and I enjoyed it
