I think 3 is best for a 25 marker, although 4 wouldn’t hurt. 2 big paragraphs for 15 marks and 1 big paragraph for 10 marks.

For arguments, I’ve got 3 pre prepared arguments which I just came up with yesterday and a couple of key points from the rubric to mention. And then I’ll just look for evidence to match them. Worst case scenario I’ll make up an argument in the exam.

what are your argumentes?
They all align and flow from one to the other so I can use one in each BP and have my ideas flow. I basically just went through the rubric yesterday and created notes on why literary worlds and important and how they work and what not, then constructed arguments based on the notes. I also tried to incorporate some literary theories like reader-response into it.

Here's some of the notes I took:

Why are literary worlds important?
  • At the surface level, they’re ways of entertainment.
  • On a deeper level, they expand the horizons of human understanding, allowing readers to perceive possibilities beyond the limits of their lived reality.
  • They externalise the internal, transforming thought, emotion and spirituality into tangible landscapes that can be explored, interrogated and understood by the reader.
  • They invite contemplation, serving as mirrors for introspection, self-examination, and recognition of the human condition in its complexity and fragility.
  • They function as vehicles for meaning-making.
  • They offer a space for moral experimentation.
  • They explore human existence in both past and future lights.
  • They enrich human imagination and empathy, fostering a deeper awareness of the self, others, and the transcendent dimensions of existence.

nah they wouldnt do discursive by itself i rcn more a choice between imaginative or discursive
That’s what we said for advanced last year and look what happened
Also I got a discursive for my ext trial, it’s not too hard. Just remember: start off with a mini imaginative, and refer to it in your entire discursive! That makes it a lot easier to write.

gang im actually cooked i didnt realise we needed quotes from a literary text if lit worlds is an analytical i always thought there would 100% be a stimulus and we'd analyse that but i saw a tiktok saying its possible they just give us a question and we have to use a lit reading to respond like wtf
