Does the ADF provide training/scholarships for budding electricians ? What prior experience would I need to have. I was very much interested in also (or hoping to) complete an electrical engineering degree. Are there certain standards I need to pass (or exams for example) to be accepted to get Universityy funding ?

There are a number of different ways you could approch this. The ADF do take on apprentices and you do not nessassarily have to have prior experience, although if you have, for example a Cert 1 from TAFE it won't hurt. If you want a Degree you may want to think about ADFA or being sponsored through the Undergraduate scheme. This is where the ADF may be able to pay your HECS and give you a wage while you study at the Uni of your choice.
