omg what i dont get about this exam is that all questions are worth equal marks.

Now some queestions will require like a page worth of stuff for the same mark as another question which requires like 2 word answer

and with doing the past papers, i always look at the answer before i attempt the question, so i have done q1-6, but even looking at the answer for 7-10 leaves me stumped

The problem is i think the exam is gonna be totally different to the past paper. I mean look at 2002 compared to 2003, they dont even have the same number of questions

Yeah i think i know how to do that now, after looking at the answer i figured out that across the top it goes B, /B, A, /A, C, /C, ?, ?, D, /D

Look at the answer and you should be able to figure it out, thats what i did.

First notice in the answer there 2 +2 + 3 + 3
2 being 2 terms timesed together,
3 being 3 terms timesed together.

Now look at the X's on the diagram.
Notice that the first row has 2 x's when you follow the first row across.
The second row has 2, the 3rd row has 3, and the 4th has 3.

Now going across left to riight, the vertical lines represent B, /B, A, /A, C, /C, -, -, D, /D
ie, the left most vertical line represents B

So The first row has two X's, and on the vertical lines /B and /A

So hence, the first term is /A*/B

Repeating for the 2nd row, its /A * /C
3rd row: B*A*C
4th row: A*C*/D

Therefore the final equation is
/A*/B /A*/C + A*B*C + A*C*/D

And this is the only question on the whole paper i fully understand enough to explain it and get the correct answer.
