I haven't done it yet..for me its not until next semester...but some tutes are for ELSSA students, so what are u actually supposed to attend..tutes and the workshops?

well ELSSA workshops are only for those who require extra help with their english -- you only go to these if u fail the diagnostic test or if ur tutor refers you because u he/she thinks you need assistance with your english grammar, as you may have not satisfied the assignment requirements...

Maybe they think you're a FOB? I'd telephone them just to make sure.

my friend hasn't done his diagnostic test yet and won't do it... lol... it ain't part of the assessment weighting so i guess they want u to do it, but u don't have to...
you don't have to go to ELSSA... you have to go to tutes though, coz participation there is marked...
you don't have to go to lectures... and recommend you don't if you know basic english like how to highlight and how to summarise! lol... it has been a complete waste of time...

same with mine... but the ppl just 'insist you do it'
for the lectures .. do go to the ones where u have to watch videos for tutorial tasks... eg roads to xanadu...
ELSSA is gay.. they are making me go to the holiday workshops.. if i don't i fail efs TT

thanks...hmm...then i can fall asleep in lec knowing that i wont be missing anything important.
Im not gonna go for the holiday workshop..maybe i should phone them up and ask abt it..hmm

ELSSA can be a good thing though if ur bothered...
you can go there and ask if they can have a look at your essay and ask them for advice...

if u got 60 in standard english. u could easily get hd in efs without going to a tut or lecture.
u gotta go tuts. lectures are a complete waste of time.
