Hi, does anyone know what is the better subject. Give me us much info as you can.

What would advantage me along with my other subjects (Adv English, legal, ancient, business and gen. mathematics)

I want a career in law.

So economics or modern?

The investigative skills and the referencing skills (ie. historiography) in Modern History is sometimes considered beneficial for law. But the two are pretty different. If you want law, then why do General Maths, especially as you could probably do better in Eco and Modern. (I assume you are an "humanities-oriented" person).

What are you more interested in first of all?
Well I have an obsession with English and like History and have wanted to do Modern History since the beg. of the year but now I am starting to change my mind. I also like business and geography so yeah.

Do you actually NEED Gen. Maths?
If you don't NEED it then just don't do it and do both Modern and Eco!

In my opinion, the closest HSC subject to law is modern (in terms of written and analytical skills). So I would seriously consider keeping it. Dropping general maths is probably your best bet.

If you really are not swayed to either subject do Economics for scaling purposes.
