HEYS GUYS, i was just appointed a task in eco's to keep track of a different economy other than australia and there is too many to choose from .. and i have no idea...any1 know a good country to work on, which comes with good information and sources, etc.. thanks!

any economy is fairly good...the major ones anyway.

u just need the right websites...

wikipedia.org... in search type in "economy of ****" eg economy of canada

this gives u a lot of good background info

also look at the human development resources site...tonnes of stats

world bank site is also good.

Hmmm, I did Vietnam. It's quite interesting because it's a "market economy with socialist direction" and was forced to depend on themselves after the Soviet collapse. Bahaha, I'm not sure what 'socialist' means though, maybe planned?

Some countries that people in my class did were China, Italy, Indonesia and Thailand.

Yeah, Chosen's sites are good too. Some others I found were dfat, New Internationalist and Encarta is pretty nifty too.
