ok i have got this economics test its mainly an essay with a few multiple choice questions. the problem is that the topic the test is completely new to us (we havent learnt in class) and there is hardly information in the yr11 textbook(by tim dixon).

the test is on:
Explain the terms Macroeconomics Policy and Microeconomics Policy (i got this part)
Outline the objectives of macroeconomics and microeconomics policies (need help)
Discuss recent government policies implemented to achieve its economic objectives. include disussion of :
macroeconomics policies
fiscal
monetary
b) microeconomic reform policies.

need help in the last part

what i need is a place to find the information (sites textbooks or whatever)

thanks

You shouldn't have a test on stuff you haven't learnt in class - sort of defies the purpose of going to class:rolleyes:
All of that information should be in the Dixon book, if not look in the Riley one.

macroeconomics policies (counter-cyclical)
are fiscal & monetary

fiscal
---budget ---surplus etc.
monetary
----interest rates (increase in them to curb the housing boom)

microeconomic reform policies (supply-side policies)
- Just find reforms on the level of individual industries

Outline the objectives of macroeconomics and microeconomics policies
Macro----> To keep the fluctuations of the business cycle to a minimum
Micro----> To improve the efficiency of industry
