With reference to the australian economy, outline the recent causes of growth, income and wealth, and environmental sustainability. what effects have these economic issues had on the overall performance of the australian economy since 2007.

How do I structure this essay? It is a 2000 word limit. And any other tips on research and stats?

Seems like a really hard essay with a lot of things thrown into one question.

Recent causes of growth (I'd interpret recent as the last 5 or so years)- growth from mining boom (make links to our commodity exports with reference to China and India)
Income and wealth- may want to refer to the budget (e.g. In 2012, the use of tax benefits and reform to superannuation policy) and the progressive taxation system
Environmental sustainability- carbon tax, super profits mining tax.

Remember, these are only suggestions. I sat my HSC last year so the relevance of these events may be affected.
