When the essay question says "Discuss (certain things) about ONE economic activity in a global context" do we refer to case studies as well, or just talk about the activity itself eg. Viticulture, tourism etc...

Thanks in advance.

I would put some examples in, but nothing too major.
For example, I'm doing tourism, so if I were to talk about the social impacts of tourism I would mention the commercialisation and degradation of cultures, such as the shortening of the hula for the enjoyment of tourists.
Hope this helps :)

I had the exact same question. I think you just base it on the activity (I'm doing viticulture) and then just a few examples from the local case study/economic enterprise. Pretty much what that guy said.

Thanks. I think you're right, I'll just mention a few examples within each paragraph if I get a question like that.

If they want you to talk about an economic enterprise i think it'll say "an economic enterprise at a local scale you have studied" etc etc
or something along those lines.
so i think that question will just be about tourism or whatever your topic is. but i dont think it would hurt if you mentioned a little bit about your enterprise.
