I need to choose between ECON1203 and MATH1041. Unsure of which one to do. MATH1041 seems to have more hours in lectures and tutorials compared to ECON1203. But then i heard MATH1041 is easier than ECON1203. I dropped maths at the end of Year 11 so i'm pretty screwed...

R u kidding. Anyone can do MATH1041. You go through means and different ways to graph data in the first two weeks. And even though the stuff you learn later on will be new, you need not be a genius to keep up. Only thing is there are 2 hour lectures and the length + the dryness of the course = weeps. But Justin Wishart if he is still taking the course is a good lecturer.

UNSW says that its recommendable.for.people.who have a combination of 175 of 3U.and 4U to do MATH1041 instead.of 1031, not me.
Judge for yourself.

That's MATH1131 and MATH1141, not MATH1031 and MATH1041.

Update
I chose MATH1041 in the end. More hours in lectures and tutorials but somewhat more easier than ECON1203 from what I can see from course outline. Hopefully I don't fail too hard. Might even go to PASS. Lol.
