Does anyone have to start school early other than B.H.S? It's starting to piss me off having to wake up at 6:30 each morning having to get to school by 7:45. Just wondering if any other public high schools have these new early times. If they don't I'll be real pissed.

When I was at highschool we had to start 2 days a week at 7:45am. whats worse is that we had english and biology at 7:45 in the morning .... i remember that i couldn't think and i spent the whole lesson sleeping

hmm, but if you get early classes, doesn't it generally mean that you finish school early or you get more free periods during the day?

Yeah it does, one good thing but on some days you get like one class that could be on 3rd period and you have to stay the whole day until you have that class. Such a pain in the ass.

We got every Wednesday off, but we had to start early pretty much every morning to make up for it. We had to be at school at like 6.30, which was a pain in the ass because no buses run that early and I had to walk for over an hour to get to school.

yeh at my old school [merrylands high] the seniors started at 7.30 instead of having period 7 and 8 after lunch, we had them at 7.30 before the rest of the school students arrived... then we got to go home at lunch - it was great... except in the middle of winter when it was bloody freezing, and also biology in the morning... that should have been illegal - but otherwise i loved the early mornings...

My god thats so early! I get out of bed at 7.30, and get to school at about 8.40. I could sleep in longer in the morning (about a minutes drive from school), but i like some time in the morning..

my school, for year 11 and 12, starts at 7.30 every morning, and finishes at 12.50... except thursdays when we start at 9.00 and finish at 12.17... which means i have to get up at like five cos i live out of zone... train goes at 6.39

damn u people r so lucky 2 start earlier and finish earlier
at my skool every morning assembly and homeroom go from 8:30-9am
onli after 9 do we start classes!
we finish at 3:10pm
however u need 2 get there b4 assembly starts...

By the way i like these early starts because i can go home at lunch and i have a couple of mornings where i can come at 9am and i have one day where i have to stay till 250pm, but i like this idea of going home at lunch....means i dont have to pack lunch in the morning.....!

In my old school, only Year 11/12 Hosptiality, Food Technology and Textiles have early lessons start at 7:45am every two weeks. In return, those classes will have one extra free period during the cycle (2 weeks per cycle).

My high school started at 8:10 each morning, which is also pretty early...it was a private school though.

I had to go in early for English Extension 2 once or twice a week.

we had some classes before school that started at 7:50 modern history was a criminal for that throughout 11 and 12. last semester of yr 12 i had bio and modern in the morning.

Period 0 starts at 8:40 fo me, which is a bitch coz i used to start school at 9, it takes me 20 minutes to walk to school so i gotta be gone by 8 20.

duck you should have put blakehurst highs school?! i have 0 period, wake up at 6.10 every morning just to get to school. i thnk i will become a coffee addict.

but i have a normal start at 9 on valentines!!
