here u go melbs, this is wat i rcvd!!

Hello,

As you may be aware, the Faculty of Economics and Business, on behalf of
the University, is currently seeking accreditation by AACSB
International (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of
Business), the premier international accrediting agency for bachelors,
masters and doctoral degree programs in business administration and
accounting.

Following a comprehensive 15-month self-evaluation phase, the Faculty
submitted its Business Accreditation Self-Evaluation Report to AACSB in
August 2003, with the discipline of Accounting and Business Law
submitting a similar report in October. As the next step, a "peer review
team" appointed by AACSB is visiting the Faculty next week, from 15th to
18th February to assess our case for accreditation, review the Faculty
and its programs, and meet with Faculty staff, students and other
stakeholder representatives. The peer review visit is a major component
of the accreditation process as it provides the best opportunity for the
team to assess - and the Faculty to affirm - our case for accreditation.

As part of the visit, the review team has requested an "open session",
where any student who wishes can meet with a member of the team. On
behalf of the Dean, I would like to extend an open invitation to you to
take advantage of this opportunity. The session has been scheduled for
next Tuesday 17th February, 11.45am to 12.45pm, and will take place in
the Dean's Boardroom, Level 2, Economics and Business Building (H69).

If you would like to know more about the AACSB accreditation process,
please refer to the attached paper.

Best wishes,

Amanda

you can't get the @'faculty'.usyd.edu.au email address unless you are a lecturer or tutor.
