Hey hjp. we got the same UAI!
I find that exciting...
I think I got dux, there is a guy who might have beaten me but he hasn't told anyone his UAI...

i know, i know.
and it's a good UAI too, i'm in love with mine.

I ended up getting it... Even though I thought there was someone else who was more deserving. Oh well.

I'm not sure if I will be going to UWS in the future, but the $500 "study grant" sure is going to come in handy for the summer holidays

lol, don't take it. I got one too, but if you are getting that high it's likely you can get a scholarship from somewhere else as well

They have to nominate the top academic achiever even if they have only one UNSW course somewhere in their preferences, its the rules of the scholarship. So now, no one will get that money...

No. My friend got the scholarship and she got a uai of like 70 something. Our school had about 15 students with 90 or over.

believe it or not, i got dux with a uai of 88---

lolz.. i beat the dux last year lolz 85 xD

We get a paper that says you were dux + money ( a large amount in the 1000's) and the name twice on the board xD captain and dux xD

I sure hope so. At the moment it's just a backup plan, in case my marks somehow plummet during the year.
