Hi,

I'm interested in applying for Arts & Commerce @ Macq for semester 2 but I only want to study commerce. I can't apply for a single B Commerce degree because according to UAC there is no Bachelor of Commerce mid-year intake. Only B Arts & B Commerce.
Upon accepting the offer (if I were to receive one), when I go enroll, can I ask them to simply drop the Arts degree course?

Regards,
Sam

I'm not too sure what the procedure is, however I don't think you'd be able to immediately drop it at enrollment. Perhaps you should select commerce based subjects and then drop the arts element at the end next semester?

Big heads up though, you're better off speaking to an advisor as they'd be more familar with what's actually possible and when.

Thanks Azure for your reply. Yeah I'll choose commerce subjects for the arts degree if I can't immediately drop it.
