ive heard that the drop out rate in acct studies is very high, something like 75%. Is this true?
and also why do you guys doin acct studies think that these ppl drop out, is it cause they are too lazy or cause the course is damn hard?

no its not true...most ppl who stuff up have to repeat a yr, but they dun actually drop out. ppl do drop out, but it's more like 20% from wot i've seen...

they drop out coz various reasons..and yes one combo is possibly coz they r lazy and the course work requires u to not b too lazy.

yer jimmy..they decide that actuarial is too hard so they drop out of uni completely and decide to go on dole and reminisque about their pre-actuarial lives

Someone I know just dropped actuarial from his actuary/fin degree...my guess is he was too busy being a homie

I'll see how well i score in actuary this semester otherwise transfer to finance/law. Did any of you actuary students have the problem of being 7 chapters behind before the final exams?
