HAHA! in a nutshell, donnie "darco" is a bi-curious teenager who is partially attracted to his sister maggie. god frowns upon this and he commands a UFO to crash into donnie "darco"s bedroom. this basically fucks him up, because if you watch the deleted scenes he shoots up so many times in this movie. that actually explains the bunny wabbit. also, his parents werent too fussed about his death by OD at the end of the film, meaning he was clearly adopted.
