Hint: What is the difference between a vein and an artery (in terms of the blood composition). Oxygen & Carbon dioxide. As the blood travels around the body it contains less O2 and more CO2. What will this do to pH?

4. Explain the uses od these products.

What does the body need O2 and CO2 for? What is CO2 a by product of? Why do we need to breathe? (Hint; it's about the bodies acid balance and it's a homeostatic response)
